“We’re seeing such prevalent and almost normalised language around the scapegoating of foreign nationals, blaming them for state failures to deliver. Combined with rhetoric from groups like Operation Dudula, this is all coming together as group behaviour.”
Vendors now fear for their lives and want to leave South Africa.
