“What does collective action and membership look like when there are few clear pathways to a better future and little faith in our ability to produce one?”

“Lost faith in universal progress has given way to forms of individual and collective action that organise without recognition or concern for the other, enabling through their epistemicide forms of exclusion that border on genocide.”

“The apartheid we must now confront is a temporal wall we are fast approaching. Some of us will find paths through, over, or under. As things stand, many of us will not.”

“Ultimately, we must seek, restore, maybe invent, the language and modes of knowing that can delegitimise forms of temporal exclusion. Whether under apartheid or other forms of segregation, we must hold on so that we can fight another day.”
