Mahlatse Mapula Peta

Mahlatse Mapula Peta is a driven and passionate individual with a strong academic background in International Relations. She holds an undergraduate degree and Honours in International Relations from the University of Venda. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Witwatersrand. Mahlatse’s academic pursuits are complemented by her research interests, which focus on the intersection of law, labour, and development. Her Master’s research, titled The Role of Legal Documentation in Facilitating Access to Decent Work: A Case Study of Burgersdorp in Limpopo, aims to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on the subject. This study seeks to understand the impact of legal documentation on workers’ rights and access to decent work, with a specific focus on the Burgersdorp community in Limpopo.
