Asiphe Mzendana is an Administration Clerk: Risk Management Unit in the Department of Employment and Labour (Pretoria). She was Born in the Eastern Cape (Idutywa) and raised in Johannesburg. Asiphe graduated with Honours in Public Administration from the University of Fort Hare (Alice) in the Eastern Cape. She prides herself with Education, and social interventions programme that promote youth development. She is also a Project Manager of the Nonkululeko Youth Development Programme. Asiphe has previously worked as an Intern at the Department of Employment of Labour, Head Office. The International Cross-Border Labour Migration unit presented her with the opportunity to be involved and take interest in migration studies. Her current interest is for migration to be grounded in policies in order to have a strong foundation in support of migration in the country. Asiphe sees herself as a public sector inspector in the future, being involved in service delivery mechanisms that facilitate development especially in the Eastern Cape Province.
