SUMMARY:2026 Spring School & Policy Dialogue
DESCRIPTION:How do political processes and the politics of the everyday shape the evidence we produce\, and the policies we inform? \nJoin us for the Spring School on Researching Migration & Health in Africa\, taking place 27 – 30 October 2026 at the University of the Witwatersrand and online. \nOrganised by the African Centre for Migration & Society (ACMS) and the ARUA Centre of Excellence in Migration & Mobility\, this year’s Spring School focuses on knowledge production\, translation\, and evidence-informed policy making in migration and health\, with a focus on the African context. \nThe programme creates a dynamic\, interdisciplinary learning space integrating academic knowledge\, policy expertise\, and practitioner experience. Speakers include international and local research experts\, NGO representatives\, and policy-making actors from South Africa\, Regional Economic Communities\, and the African region. \nA high-level policy dialogue will take place on Thursday\, 29 October 2026. \nParticipation is free. In-person spaces are limited. \nApplications for both in-person and remote participation will be submitted online.
